Details of the Job/Internship

Porter is hiring a Legal Manager with 4–7 years of experience for its Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure complete legal compliance for all international business operations.
• Coordinate with external counsel globally to manage litigation and regulatory matters.
• Oversee legal aspects of international expansion, including structuring, licensing, employment contracts, and data transfer agreements.
• Lead the corporate data privacy function and implement DPDP-aligned data governance frameworks.
• Manage vendor due diligence, contract negotiations, and monitoring of third-party compliance.
• Oversee the protection and enforcement of the company’s IP portfolio.
• Advise leadership on employment law compliance at central, state, and municipal levels.
• Negotiate and review IT agreements, SaaS contracts, and technology partnership documents.
• Oversee vendor contracts and streamline agreement review processes.
• Advise stakeholders on legal implications of IT services, products, and technology acquisitions.

Eligibility

• Law Graduate (LL.B.) with 4–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
