Prestige Estates Projects Limited is hiring for a legal role to support its real estate operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle real estate matters and transactions for residential and commercial projects.
- Conduct title due diligence, prepare reports, identify risks, and suggest mitigation plans.
- Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents including development rights, conveyance, joint venture, lease, leave and license, LLP deeds, loan and mortgage documents, collaboration and service agreements, EPC contracts, agreements for sale, booking forms, application forms, expressions of interest, and powers of attorney.
- Manage litigation before the High Court, City Civil Court, Small Causes Court, RERA authorities, Consumer Forums, NCLT, and arbitration proceedings.
- Maintain strong knowledge of land laws, regulations, and notifications relevant to real estate, civil, and criminal matters, including revenue and land records.
- Liaise with authorities such as MCGM, NMMC, TMC, CIDCO, MSRDC, MIDC, ED, and other regulatory bodies.
- Handle RERA filings, compliances, and audits.
- Address client and customer queries and disputes.
- Draft legal notices, pleadings, letters, and related documentation.
- Conduct regular legal research using online portals such as Manupatra and court websites.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business development, finance, sales, strategy, projects, and operations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of land records, transactions, and litigation matters.
- Manage adjudication, stamping, and registration of transaction documents and customer agreements.
- Coordinate with liaison teams for obtaining approvals and permissions.
- Interact and follow up with joint venture partners, advocates, solicitors, law firms, and external consultants, and ensure timely payment of fees.
Eligibility
- Proficiency in English and Marathi languages.
