Details of the Job/Internship

Protium Finance Ltd is hiring a Legal Manager to join their office in Chandigarh. The role involves overseeing and managing legal activities and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage legal activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements and documents.
• Provide legal consultancy and advisory services to the organisation.
• Handle disputes and respond to legal queries.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and monitor regulatory changes.
• Support legal risk management within the organisation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) is an advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate legal practice, preferably with exposure to NBFC operations.
• Expertise in legal drafting, review, and negotiation of legal documents.
• Sound knowledge of Corporate Law, Banking Law, and NBFC regulations.
• Strong skills in legal consultancy, compliance management, and policy interpretation.
• Proven ability to handle dispute resolution and manage relationships with external legal counsel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
