PW (PhysicsWallah) is hiring a Legal Associate – Contracts & Compliance with 3–7 years of experience to manage corporate legal, contractual, and secretarial functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts, including franchise, lease, marketing, technology, MoUs, supply, and service agreements.
- Ensure all agreements are compliant, enforceable, and protect company interests.
- Manage company secretarial tasks such as drafting Board Resolutions, Minutes, Annual Filings, and maintaining Statutory Registers.
- Handle filings and compliance on MCA & RBI portals (FCTRS, FCGPR, FLA).
- Provide legal and compliance support for new business projects and respond to legal notices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
- Liaise with external legal counsels and assist during internal and external audits.
- Conduct legal research and track regulatory developments affecting business operations.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM degree from a recognized institution.
- 3–7 years of experience in corporate legal, contracts, and secretarial roles.
- Strong understanding of the Companies Act, FEMA, and commercial contract laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
