Details of the Job/Internship

Ravi Group Builders & Developers is hiring a Legal Manager to join their office in Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Role and Responsibilities

Litigation & Revenue Matters

• Represent the company in revenue legal matters before Revenue Courts at Mumbai, Thane, Panvel, Kalyan, Bandra, Belapur, and Mulund.
• Maintain up-to-date records and status reports on ongoing revenue proceedings.
• Coordinate with court advocates on day-to-day litigation matters involving the company.

Drafting & Documentation

• Draft and review various legal documents, including Sale Agreements, Conveyance Deeds, Consent Letters, Powers of Attorney, MOUs, Letters, and Legal Notices in both English and Marathi.
• Draft and file applications before the Collector for permission under Section 43 of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act (Tenanted Property).

Due Diligence & Property Transactions

• Scrutinize and verify all property-related documents for land acquisitions.
• Maintain well-organized records of all scrutinized land purchase files and follow up on pending documentation.
• Review and validate all revenue documents related to property transactions.

Liaison & Coordination

• Liaise with external legal counsel, government departments, survey departments, and civic bodies as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments for seamless legal support across company functions.
• Handle matters related to SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority) where applicable.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure legal compliance in all real estate and property dealings.
• Advise on financial aspects of legal transactions and ensure transparency in money-related matters.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor the internal legal team, ensuring effective delegation and performance tracking.
• Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and legal excellence.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B); Master's Degree (LL.M) preferred.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in real estate and revenue law.
• Proficiency in Marathi and English (spoken and written).
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience in handling SRA projects is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a legal team.

Salary/Stipend

₹60,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
