The RPSG Ventures is hiring a legal manager to join them in Kolkata office.
Role and Responsibilities
Corporate Law
- Advise on compliance with corporate laws and regulations applicable to the Group’s diverse business sectors.
- Commercial Agreements: Draft, negotiate, and review various contracts, including.
Service agreements
- Supply and distribution agreements
- Lease deeds and license agreements
- Non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements
- Ensure all contracts adhere to Group policies and mitigate potential risks.
Regulatory Compliance
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments across industries.
- Provide proactive advice on regulatory compliance and develop actionable solutions for adherence to laws.
Risk Management
- Identify potential legal risks and provide mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the General Counsel to implement compliance programs and drive a culture of legal awareness.
Contract Management
- Develop and oversee a centralized contract management system for tracking agreements, obligations, and key dates.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues proactively.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong legal knowledge in corporate, commercial, and regulatory domains.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
