Details of the Job/Internship
Sagility is hiring a Legal Manager to join its legal department and support healthcare BPO operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, service agreements, NDAs, licensing, lease, vendor, customer, and partnership agreements.
- Vet and review bids, proposals, RFI and RFP documents.
- Maintain and update contract templates and legal databases for Sagility and its affiliates.
- Provide litigation support and coordinate with external counsels across jurisdictions.
- Support mergers and acquisitions matters, as required.
- Advise cross-functional teams on contract execution in line with internal policies and processes.
- Provide legal advice on general corporate and commercial matters.
- Monitor legal developments and update stakeholders accordingly.
- Conduct training sessions and prepare presentations on legal and contractual matters.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Identify contractual risks and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
- Support development and maintenance of in-house legal tools.
- Provide advice on labour and employment law matters.
- Handle intellectual property matters, including registrations and coordination with external IP counsels.
- Maintain databases relating to inter-company and related party transactions.
- Work closely with procurement, administration, HR, technology, operations, finance, and business teams.
- Ensure timely responses and adherence to legal timelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising manager.
Eligibility
- Background in contracting, policy review, and lease or contract review.
- Strong exposure to drafting and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and other agreements.
- Good communication skills, including interaction with US stakeholders.
- Willingness to work evening or night shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
