Details of the Job/Internship

Salarpuria Group is hiring a Legal Manager – Real Estate with experience of 8–12 years to support its real estate development projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage legal aspects of land acquisition and project land aggregation.
• Conduct legal due diligence, including title verification and encumbrance checks.
• Review land classification, tenure, and compliance with municipal and land laws.
• Handle Thika Tenancy matters and related legal compliance.
• Oversee land valuation in coordination with consultants and stakeholders.
• Manage land records, including mutation, LRTT matters, and land conversion.
• Coordinate with revenue authorities such as BLRO, DLRO, and municipal bodies.
• Facilitate approvals, certifications, and statutory documentation.
• Handle civil, criminal, real estate, and consumer litigation, including matters before courts and WBRERA.
• Draft petitions, affidavits, written statements, and legal notices.
• Coordinate with external counsel for litigation strategy and case management.
• Maintain litigation records and tracking systems.
• Draft and vet agreements such as development agreements, sale deeds, lease deeds, MOUs, and power of attorney.
• Ensure compliance with RERA and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage stamp duty, registration, and statutory documentation processes.
• Provide legal advisory support to mitigate risks.

Eligibility

• 8–12 years of legal experience in real estate or infrastructure organisations.
• Strong expertise in real estate and property laws.
• Experience in land acquisition, due diligence, and litigation.
• Knowledge of land records, mutation, LRTT, and statutory compliance processes.
• Familiarity with RERA regulations and land regist
