Details of the Job/Internship

Searce is hiring a Manager – Legal with 8+ years of corporate or law firm experience, including 5+ years advising tech companies, to proactively manage legal risks and enable business innovation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex legal risks across contracts, data privacy, IP, regulatory compliance, and tech initiatives.
• Provide clear, actionable interpretation of complex laws and contractual terms for business operations.
• Lead review, drafting, and negotiation of diverse legal documents ensuring robust protection aligned with business objectives.
• Act as a liaison across teams, translating legal complexities into understandable business impacts and enabling informed decision-making.
• Champion legal modernization by implementing AI-driven legal tech, CLM, and e-discovery solutions for efficiency and scalability.
• Own accountability as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for legal outcomes, risk mitigation, and the impact of legal interventions.
• Support process improvement, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize legal operations.

Eligibility

• Legal leadership experience of 8+ years in corporate law or law firm settings.
• 5+ years of experience working with or advising technology companies (cloud, AI, data).
• Expertise in dispute resolution, strategic advisory, and risk management execution.
• Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal process optimization.
• Proficiency in leveraging modern legal technologies and understanding digital, cloud, and AI-related legal risks.

Salary/Stipend
