Details of the Job/Internship
Siemens Gamesa is hiring a Manager – Legal with 10–12 years of experience to join its Chengalpattu office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (EPC, O&M, supply, lease, etc.).
- Support contract lifecycle management for sales and project teams.
- Provide legal assistance for acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions.
- Ensure compliance with energy, environmental, and corporate laws.
- Coordinate with external counsel and manage litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation matters.
- Maintain documentation and legal records.
- Mentor internal teams on legal risks and compliance.
- Conduct training sessions on legal and compliance matters.
Eligibility
-
- LL.B. from a top-tier institution (CLC, NLSU, etc.).
- 10–12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
- At least 3–5 years with reputed law firms.
- Strong knowledge of Indian contract law, energy regulations, and corporate law.
- Experience with multinational corporations preferred.
- Ability to manage independent responsibilities while collaborating across teams.
