Details of the Job/Internship
Simbhaoli Sugars is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Litigation Management:
- Manage ongoing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution cases involving the company.
- Collaborate with external legal counsels to effectively represent the company in legal proceedings.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure the unit’s compliance with relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor regulatory updates and implement proactive measures to maintain legal compliance.
3. Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and MOUs to mitigate potential legal risks.
- Identify and address legal risks in agreements to safeguard the company’s interests.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
- Additional exposure to sugar, distillery, or food industry laws will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a senior legal role.
- Proven track record in managing legal functions for a manufacturing unit.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of laws related to the sugar and manufacturing sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively in high-pressure situations.
