Details of the Job/Internship
SKI Capital Services Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with experience of 5+ years to join their Delhi office in hybrid mode.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support for all aspects of merchant banking activities, including IPOs, FPOs, rights issues, and private placements.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, including SEBI ICDR, LODR, and other relevant regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as offer documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities like SEBI, Stock Exchanges, and other statutory bodies to obtain necessary approvals.
- Manage legal due diligence processes for clients and transactions.
- Oversee the resolution of legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration related to merchant banking activities.
- Stay updated on the latest legal developments affecting the merchant banking industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Equity Capital Markets, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Provide training and guidance to junior legal team members.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university (LLM or additional qualifications like CS, CA, or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in legal roles within the financial services or investment banking sector.
- In-depth knowledge of SEBI regulations, including SEBI ICDR, and experience in handling IPOs and capital market transactions.
- Strong understanding of corporate and securities law.
