Details of the Job/Internship

Soul Parking is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of 9+ years to join their office in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist company regarding Commercial and responsible for handling various legal documents, including preparing and reviewing partnership agreements, parking and non-parking agreements, contract drafting, M&A, and other related matters.
• Assist the company in various transactions, fundraising, and other corporate actions from a legal perspective, including providing advice on legal implications and risks concerning commercial business operations and various development initiatives.
• Provide leadership to the legal team and manage the team’s KPIs to ensure that operational metrics and goals are met regularly.
• Lead in the policy-making process and its implementation to ensure the legal systems and processes of the company comply with all relevant government regulations, are efficient and aligned with industry best practices.
• Negotiate on behalf of the company, including government relations.
• Any ad-hoc activities, when required.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Peradi licensed preferred.
• Minimum 9+ years experience in a similar in-house role and a law firm.
• Sound understanding and knowledge of commercial and corporate law in Indonesia.
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand.
• Excellent communication skills, highly collaborative.
• Demonstrates strong accountability and initiative.
• Having experience in managing legal documents for fundraising, preferably.
• Fluency in English.

Salary/Stipend
