Details of the Job/Internship

Sprinto is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of experience to manage legal operations across global jurisdictions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, licensing, MSAs, NDAs, and data processing addenda.
• Collaborate with sales and revenue teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
• Develop and implement policies for contract management and compliance.
• Stay ahead of data privacy regulations and advise on privacy/security matters.
• Provide legal guidance on international compliance, commercial law, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead contract negotiations while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain compliance trackers and conduct audits to assess regulatory adherence.

Eligibility

• 5–8 years of experience handling SaaS agreements, software licensing, and commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
• Experience in IP protection, dispute resolution, and corporate governance.
• Ability to balance business goals with legal risks and provide practical advice.
• Skilled in simplifying complex legal issues for business teams.
• Ability to work across time zones in a fast-paced environment.
