Details of the Job/Internship

Subex Ltd is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal with 7–10 years of experience to join its Bangalore office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and closing customer contracts including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, software license, and services agreements.
• Handling change requests, amendments, and addendums.
• Ensuring contracts align with internal contracting standards and policies.
• Managing contracts end-to-end from deal review to execution.
• Providing legal inputs for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs from telecom customers.
• Identifying legal, contractual, and compliance risks and recommending mitigation measures.
• Reviewing and negotiating partner, reseller, distributor, and teaming agreements.
• Drafting and negotiating vendor agreements, NDAs, subcontractor, and third-party contracts.
• Updating contract templates and contracting playbooks.
• Conducting legal research on governing laws, including English law, and emerging legal concepts.

Eligibility

• LLB or equivalent qualification.
• 7–10 years of experience in commercial contracting.
• Experience in software or SaaS companies, with telecom exposure being an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with international contracts, particularly Africa-region deals.
• Bar Council membership or equivalent professional standing.
• Strong expertise in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and legal research.
