Swarna Pragati Housing Microfinance Private Limited is hiring a Legal Manager to join its operations in Mysore. The role involves handling legal recovery, litigation coordination, mortgage documentation, and providing legal advisory support to internal teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage field visits in coordination with the collections team to ensure effective recovery processes.
• Handle legal recovery of non-performing assets in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with advocates for Section 138 proceedings under the Negotiable Instruments Act and arbitration matters.
• Follow up on ongoing court cases and maintain an updated legal MIS.
• Conduct legal due diligence and oversee mortgage documentation for secured lending.
• Provide advisory support on legal queries, stamp duty, and compliance matters to internal stakeholders.
