Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Consumer Products is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of 8 to 12 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Litigation Management: Having adeptly managed legal proceedings to mitigate potential financial losses by devising strategies for swift and cost-effective resolution of litigations, thereby reducing legal expenses and potential penalties. Additionally, have experience in handling food law and land matters.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitoring regulatory changes and delivering timely updates to internal stakeholders to facilitate proactive measures and mitigate the risk of non-compliance penalties that could affect the company's financial stability.
- Contractual Risk Mitigation: Ensuring thorough drafting and careful vetting of contracts to mitigate financial risks and liabilities, thus safeguarding the company's financial interests against potential legal issues or disputes arising from agreements
- Risk Avoidance and Legal Advisory: Offering precise legal counsel and analysis to management, aiding in informed decision-making that minimizes financial risks and ensures the company's compliance with legal requirements.
Eligibility
- Qualified LLB from reputed Law College Food / FMCG Industry experience of 8-12 years.
- Good knowledge of Litigation and proficiency in drafting and vetting of agreements.
- In depth knowledge on Food laws (FSSAI, Legal Metrology, advertisement regulation).
- Knowledge in licensing requirement under FSSAI and allied regulations.
