Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Play Limited (formerly known as Tata Sky Limited), is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 7+ years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- 1. Ethics & Investigations
- Develop and disseminate corporate ethics policies, declarations, and conflict of interest disclosures.
- Review and align corporate policies to ensure consistency with organizational ethical standards.
- Lead investigations related to allegations of misconduct, financial impropriety, ethical breaches, and conflicts of interest.
- Prepare detailed and confidential investigation reports with actionable recommendations.
- Maintain secure and confidential channels for whistleblower complaints and allegations handling.
- Identify fraud risk areas and collaborate with functional heads, auditors, and stakeholders to implement anti-fraud controls.
- Work closely with legal and regulatory teams on compliance matters requiring legal follow-up.
- Recommend and implement corrective measures to prevent ethical violations and revenue leakages.
- 2. Ethics Awareness & Training
- Ensure 100% completion of Tata Code of Conduct (TCoC) training for new hires and refresher courses for existing employees.
- Regularly update induction decks and training modules to reflect the latest ethics policies and TCoC values.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries regarding gifts, hospitality, conflicts of interest, and other ethical concerns.
- Maintain updated policies and guidelines on Tata Play Universe (internal portal).
- Organize company-wide ethics campaigns, including Ethics Week, to reinforce organizational values.
- Circulate informative communications on policy changes, seasonal gift guidelines, and whistleblower protocols.
- Provide advisory support for ethics-related clauses in business partner contracts.
- 3. POSH Compliance
- Serve as the POSH Convener coordinating with the Internal Committee (IC), external investigators, and presiding officers for resolution of cases.
- Drive awareness on POSH guidelines through employee training, posters, and awareness campaigns in accordance with the POSH Act, 2013.
- Manage POSH-related documentation and ensure timely filing of annual reports.
- Conduct POSH workshops for both full-time and third-party employees across locations.
- Ensure compliance across all offices, including visible display of POSH policies and reporting procedures.
Eligibility
Education:
- Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Law, or Accounting (mandatory)
- PGDM/MBA from a reputed institution (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in ethics and compliance, fraud investigation, or corporate governance.
- Strong exposure to:
- Fraud analysis, prevention, and due diligence
- POSH compliance and IC coordination
- Ethics policy development (Whistleblower, Vigil Mechanism, Anti-Bribery, Code of Conduct)
