Details of the Job/Internship
TBZ – The Original is hiring a senior legal professional with 10+ years of experience to manage legal, compliance, and governance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, distributors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Track regulatory developments and advise management on compliance strategies.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations and transactions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles and support board-level legal requirements.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, case files, correspondence, and legal research records.
- Represent the company before courts and file petitions as required.
Eligibility
- Minimum 10 years of professional legal experience.
- LLM qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment.
- High levels of energy, commitment to deadlines, and professional integrity.
