Details of the Job/Internship
They are seeking an experienced Real Estate Litigation Attorney to manage and represent legal disputes related to residential matters. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing high-volume litigation, excellent negotiation skills, and experience handling real estate-related cases such as disputes over property transactions, zoning, lease agreements, title issues, eminent domain, and other real property matters.
Role and Responsibilities
Case Management:
- Manage a diverse caseload related to real estate disputes, including preparation, research, and trial preparation.
Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support clients' positions in litigation, including reviewing contracts, statutes, and case law.
Negotiation:
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently while prioritizing client goals.
Courtroom Advocacy:
- Advocate effectively in court, conducting hearings, trials, depositions, and presenting arguments persuasively.
Stay Current with Real Estate Laws:
- Keep abreast of changes in real estate law, zoning regulations, and market trends that affect litigation strategies.
Eligibility
- LLB degree from an accredited law school.
- 3–7 years (or as required) of litigation experience, with a strong focus on real estate law and related disputes.
