Details of the Job/Internship

Turtle Limited is hiring Legal Manager to join their office in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.).
• Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies.
• Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust.
• Approve Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights.
• Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.
• Knowledge of Trademark protection, registration, Legal cases in NI Act & other money suits.

Eligibility

• Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment/manufacturing industry.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• Excellent skills in legal drafting & commercial contracts management (franchisee).
• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• BA & LLB degree is mandatory.
• PG Diploma (Business Administration) or MBA will be considered an added advantage.
