Details of the Job/Internship

Valueleaf is hiring a Manager – Legal with 5+ years of experience for its Mumbai or Bangalore offices.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, service agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and partnership/channel agreements.
• Provide legal advisory to business teams on operational, regulatory, and contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with laws, internal policies, and risk frameworks.
• Support internal stakeholders with legal opinions, contract interpretations, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Compliance, and Operations teams on legal matters.
• Maintain contract repositories and legal documentation.
• Handle civil, criminal, consumer, and commercial litigation matters.
• Manage court notices, summons, police notices, complaints, FIRs, and investigations.
• Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, and counsels for filings, hearings, and case strategy.
• Prepare case briefs, responses, affidavits, and supporting documentation.
• Track litigation timelines and court dates, ensuring timely compliance.
• Act as primary contact for law enforcement authorities when required.
• Maintain litigation trackers, MIS reports, and status updates for management.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree required; Master’s or specialisation in Technology, IP, or Financial Laws is a plus.
• Enrollment with a State Bar Council preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience in digital marketing, fintech, or related fields.
• Proficiency in data privacy, advertising standards, and financial regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian laws, litigation management, and stakeholder communication.

Salary/Stipend
