Workafella is hiring a Legal Manager with 6+ years of experience to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including corporate, commercial contracts, compliance, and employment laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as leases, service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and industry regulations.
- Handle legal aspects of leasing, property management, and client disputes.
- Oversee litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes impacting the co-working sector.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and coordinate efforts for complex matters.
- Assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures to minimize risk.
- Provide training and legal updates to other departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a Master’s degree or legal certification is a plus.
- 6+ years of experience in corporate law, real estate, or a related field; experience in the co-working, real estate, or hospitality industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of leasing, property law, and commercial contracts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience managing legal disputes and litigation.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
