Details of the Job/Internship
Zinnov is hiring a Senior Manager or Manager – Legal and Compliance to support corporate legal and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Protect the company’s reputation and manage risk and compliance functions.
- Report to the Director of Finance and oversee corporate legal and compliance activities.
- Provide proactive, in-depth, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize legal and transactional documents and agreements.
- Prepare contracts, agreements, manuals, and policy documents as required.
- Ensure agreements are thoroughly vetted and responses are provided within agreed timelines.
- Handle trademark infringement matters and lead negotiations on complex, high-value contracts.
- Build and manage labour laws, corporate law, corporate governance, and compliance activities.
- Conduct legal research and track changes in labour and corporate laws.
- Coordinate with lawyers and external counsel for notices, replies, litigation, and arbitration matters.
- Develop effective relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, international clients, business associates, and function groups.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
