Details of the Job/Internship

ID4 Consultancy is hiring a Legal Manager / Legal Associate (Non-Litigation) with 2–4 years of experience for Legal Associate roles and 4+ years for Legal Manager roles to join a mortgage-focused organisation in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for mortgage loan operations.
• Conduct legal due diligence of properties proposed for mortgage.
• Prepare and issue Legal Search Reports and Title Search Reports.
• Perform property searches and prepare detailed search reports.
• Examine title deeds, encumbrance certificates, sale deeds, and agreements.
• Assist in creating equitable, registered, and extended mortgages.
• Support internal teams on legal queries related to loan documentation, stamp duty, and registration.
• Ensure compliance with property laws, mortgage regulations, and company policies.
• Handle property documentation on a Pan-India basis.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel, registration offices, and internal stakeholders.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed law college.
• 2–4 years of experience for Legal Associate roles.
• 4+ years of experience for Legal Manager roles.
• Strong experience in non-litigation or business legal roles.
• Hands-on exposure to mortgage loans and property due diligence.
• Basic Kannada language skills (read and write) are mandatory.
• Strong understanding of property laws and mortgage documentation.
