Kaleesuwari Refinery Private Limited is hiring a Legal Manager / Senior Legal Counsel with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join their corporate office in Mylapore, Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents including lease agreements, sale deeds, and MoUs.
- Conduct legal due diligence for property acquisitions and verify land titles.
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws such as the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
- Draft board resolutions, JV agreements, and advise on M&A transactions.
- Draft and negotiate vendor agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and coordinate with external counsel.
- Manage trademark filings, oppositions, and IP enforcement.
- Provide legal opinions and support internal audits and training.
Eligibility
LLB / LLM from a reputed law school.
Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate legal functions.
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, real estate, or infrastructure sector preferred.
Proficiency in Tamil is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Indian property, corporate, civil, and IP laws.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
