Details of the Job/Internship

Votum is hiring a Legal Intern for a full-time or part-time internship lasting 2–3 months (extendable).

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on statutes, judgments, and precedents to support product development and client queries.
• Assist in drafting contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents under supervision.
• Review internal and external documents for compliance, accuracy, and risk assessment.
• Prepare case studies and legal briefs showcasing the use of technology in practice.
• Collaborate on knowledge management projects, including summarizing judgments, curating precedents, and annotating cases.
• Support business development by preparing pitch decks and proposals.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, events, and webinars aimed at legal professionals.

Eligibility

• Current law student (3rd year or above in a 5-year course / final year in a 3-year course) or recent law graduate.
• Strong legal drafting and research skills preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Interest in legal technology, innovation, and emerging trends in law.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
