Details of the Job/Internship
Medhaj Techno Concept Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Matter Expert to manage advisory, compliance, contract, and litigation matters for power transmission projects and corporate operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing legal advisory support and ensuring compliance with the Electricity Act, 2003 and other applicable laws.
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting EPC contracts, consultancy agreements, vendor agreements, MoUs, and tenders.
- Liaising with State Electricity Regulatory Commissions for regulatory filings, tariff petitions, and statutory submissions.
- Managing litigation and arbitration and coordinating with panel advocates.
- Handling corporate, service, and labour law matters, including policy drafting and statutory compliance.
- Conducting legal risk assessments and supporting dispute resolution processes.
- Maintaining legal documentation and ensuring timely statutory renewals.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in legal and corporate or service matters within the power sector.
