Details of the Job/Internship
Deutsche Bank is hiring a Legal Negotiator with 2–8 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Mumbai. The selected candidate will support derivative and financial product transactions by drafting and negotiating complex contracts and related legal documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of master agreements such as ISDA, CSA, GMRA, MRA, GMSLA, MSLA, and related amendments.
- Review constitutional documents and ensure all corporate consents and approvals are in place.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and respond to queries regarding agreements.
- Build and manage client relationships.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all documentation.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments.
- Participate in documentation and process improvement initiatives.
Eligibility
- Law degree or Commonwealth-qualified lawyer or solicitor.
- 2–5 years of PQE for Senior Analyst level and 6–8 years of PQE for Associate level.
- Experience in financial products or commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
- Prior experience in derivative documentation preferred.
- Strong legal drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
