Details of the Job/Internship

FashionTV is looking for a detail-oriented Legal Counsel specializing in franchise agreements to manage non-litigation legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in franchise law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.

Experience: 3–9 years in franchise law or commercial contracts.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and related contracts.
• Provide legal counsel on franchise operations, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the franchise business model.
• Advise on regulatory and legal aspects of franchising, including disclosure obligations, intellectual property rights, and brand protection.
• Assist in structuring new franchise models and expansion strategies.
• Stay updated on legal developments related to franchising.
• Handle legal issues arising from franchise relationships efficiently and proactively.

Eligibility

• Education: LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience: 3–9 years in franchise law or commercial contracts.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of franchising regulations, contract law, and compliance.
• Skills: Excellent drafting, negotiation, and regulatory advisory skills.
• Work Environment: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
