Details of the Job/Internship
Eonforge Apex Pvt Ltd is hiring a Legal Officer (Equity-Only) to support its pre-revenue deep-tech hardware startup with a filed patent. The role involves handling contracts, intellectual property protection, regulatory compliance, and investor agreements. The position offers equity-only compensation, with no monetary remuneration until funding is secured.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, including employment, vendor, NDA, and partnership agreements.
- Handle intellectual property protection, patent prosecution, and related filings.
- Manage regulatory compliance requirements for the startup.
- Advise on investor agreements and equity structuring, including ESOP frameworks.
- Support compliance with applicable startup and energy sector regulations.
Eligibility
- Experience drafting or reviewing contracts, including employment, vendor, NDA, and partnership agreements.
- Understanding of intellectual property law, patent prosecution, and filing processes.
- Familiarity with Indian startup regulatory compliance, including MCA, ROC, and DPIIT recognition.
- Knowledge of energy sector regulations such as MNRE, PEDA, PSPCL, and CEA is a strong plus.
- Experience with investor agreements, including SAFE, SHA, and term sheets, is a plus.
- Ability to advise on equity structuring and ESOP frameworks.
- Formal law degree not mandatory if demonstrable practical knowledge is available.
