Details of the Job/Internship
BPTP Group is hiring a legal professional with 5–6+ years of experience to manage litigation and legal compliance matters, primarily in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the organisation’s litigation portfolio before Gurgaon RERA and execution courts.
- Coordinate with external counsel, court personnel, complainants, and opposing counsel.
- Prepare, review, and file legal documentation including petitions, applications, replies, rejoinders, and execution-related pleadings.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings before RERA, execution courts, district courts, and consumer forums.
- Ensure compliance with execution orders and RERA judgments.
- Review and evaluate DPC and refund calculations submitted by AOs, DHs, and JDs.
- Advise on filing appeals in cases of divergence between execution court views and established judgments.
- Monitor cases likely to be listed and work towards timely closure of execution matters.
- Take proactive steps to avoid adverse or unfavourable court orders.
- Keep the Reporting Manager informed of urgent matters and upcoming proceedings.
- Develop legal strategies in coordination with the Reporting Manager and external counsel.
- Maintain litigation MIS and case records with regular updates.
- Attend CRM and legal interlock review meetings and suggest solutions to ongoing challenges.
Eligibility
- LLB.
- Minimum 5–6+ years of experience in real estate companies.
- Specific exposure to handling execution matters before Gurgaon RERA.
- Strong knowledge of RERA Act, Consumer Act, Apartment Act, Land Revenue Act, HDRU Act, and other real estate-related laws.
- Experience in preparation of BBA, settlement deeds, and conveyance deeds compatible with the RERA Act.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
