Details of the Job/Internship

FatakPay is hiring a Legal Officer to provide end-to-end legal support focusing on NBFC regulatory compliance and cybercrime matters, including advisory, dispute resolution, and legal risk mitigation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure NBFC compliance with RBI regulations, circulars, and compliance frameworks.
• Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting NBFC operations.
• Lead investigations and legal proceedings in cybercrime, online frauds, phishing, and digital financial crimes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and policies.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution, including recovery, arbitration, and regulatory matters.
• Liaise with regulators, law enforcement agencies, cyber cells, and external counsels.
• Conduct legal research on NBFC-related legislation.
• Maintain updated compliance trackers and legal documentation.

Eligibility

• LLB or LLM degree.
• 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of NBFC regulations and RBI guidelines.
• Expertise in cybercrime investigation and advisory.
• Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and dispute resolution.

Salary/Stipend
