Details of the Job/Internship
MS Fincap is looking for a Legal Officer (Non-Litigation) with 1–2 years of experience to join its team in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Title Search Reports (TSR) to verify the ownership history of properties.
- Conduct thorough property and legal due diligence to identify potential risks or encumbrances.
- Draft, vet, and finalize various legal agreements and loan documentation.
- Coordinate with external advocates and agencies for title verification and legal opinions.
- Ensure all non-litigation legal processes align with NBFC regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a structured repository of legal documents and property titles.
- Provide legal support to the credit and sales teams regarding property-related queries.
- Stay updated on local land laws and registration procedures in the Gujarat region.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of experience in a non-litigation legal role.
- Hands-on expertise in preparing Title Search Reports (TSR).
- Strong background in legal document vetting and commercial agreements.
- Proficiency in conducting property-based due diligence.
- Prior experience in an NBFC or the banking sector is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to join the team on short notice (early joiners preferred).
