Details of the Job/Internship

ADIR BHARAT INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED is hiring for the position of legal officer to join them in their Kolkata office. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Legal Advisory:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on civil law matters, including property disputes, contract issues, and litigation.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

2. Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Ensure all contracts are legally sound and protect the company's interests.

3. Dispute Resolution:

• Handle civil litigation cases, including preparing legal notices, pleadings, and representing the company in court.
• Manage dispute resolution processes, including arbitration and mediation.

4. Legal Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable civil laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.

5. Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal documents, case files, and correspondence.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on legal activities and case status.

6. Coordination and Liaison:

• Coordinate with external legal counsel and other stakeholders as required.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other relevant parties on legal matters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of civil laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and legal drafting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
• Master's degree in Law (LLM) or a related field.
• Experience in the Real Estate sector.
• Familiarity with arbitration and mediation processes.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
