Amicorp Group is hiring for the position of Legal Officer with 8+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate documents including directors’/members’ resolutions, powers of attorney, indemnity letters, registers of members/directors, share certificates, service agreements, certificates of incumbency, incorporation, liquidation, and other legal documents.
- Manage incorporation and termination processes within the Prospect and Termination Work Flow.
- Provide accurate fee quotations for client services and ensure proper recording of fees in Maconomy.
- Monitor productivity and chargeability weekly; review performance against financial and client service targets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and economic frameworks while aligning actions with client activities and business purpose.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, databases, and documentation (CIS, Cabinet, and related systems).
- Ensure proper capitalization of companies and maintain signed management agreements in client files (where applicable).
- Collaborate with managers to maintain and enhance client databases; provide guidance on complex client requests.
- Develop and update legal manuals, procedures, and contribute to system improvements.
- Prepare monthly management reports and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Share expertise with colleagues and provide mentorship where relevant.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law or Economics / Qualified Company Secretary.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in legal, corporate, or company management services (law firm, trust, or company management firm).
- Strong commercial mindset; proactive, results-driven, and target-focused.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written); English fluency required, additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; detail-oriented and solution-driven.
- Independent, accountable, and hands-on, with the ability to thrive in both dynamic local teams and larger matrix organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership, team collaboration, and ambition to excel in the role.
Salary/Stipend
