Details of the Job/Internship

Browns Plantations is hiring a Legal Officer with experience of 4+ years to join their office in Sri Lanka.

Role and Responsibilities

• Appearing in courts whenever necessary, including at regional levels. 
• Attending to police inquiries and other discussions with government institutions on land-related matters. 
• Overseeing notarial work including commercial and other notarial-related agreements. 
• Assisting the Legal Department Head in daily operations.

Eligibility

• Attorney-at-Law with a minimum of 4 years experience in Civil Law (specializing in Land Law). 
• Should possess the Notary License to practice in both Sinhala and English languages within Colombo jurisdiction. 
• Knowledge of Labor Law would be an added advantage.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
