CARS24 is hiring a Legal officer with experience of 1 to 3 years to join their office in Ahmedabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to customers for intimating them about payment outstanding dues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Responsible to perform the tasks related to local police stations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to car loans, including consumer protection laws, lending regulations, and contract laws.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and follow-up actions.
• Organise and participate in customer meetings, negotiations, court appearances, conferences, and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Performing home visits to ensure the collection of EMI's or vehicle repossession.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM Qualified.
• Knowledge of Section 138 Negotiable Instrument ActGood contacts in the local police station is an added advantage.
• 1-3 years of experience in debt recovery or collections, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
