Details of the Job/Internship
Cheran Group of Companies is hiring a Legal Officer with experience of 4+ years to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate, Collaborate & work closely with legal counsel representing our company for all legal proceedings that need to be handled at Chennai.
- Whenever required represent the company in legal proceedings.
- Review and advise on company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law;
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in litigation and dispute resolution is a plus.
- Membership in a recognized bar association.
