Credila Financial Services Limited is hiring a Legal Officer with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Park Street, Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage local and regional lawyers, legal reports, payments, and liasoning.
- Initiate legal reports and arrange reports from panel lawyers.
- Initiate property valuations and arrange related reports.
- Vet original legal documents and sign to confirm order.
- File Sec 138 and CERSEI cases for legal recovery.
- Provide exceptions on property titles and missing documents.
- Liaise with customers and departments for legal reports.
- Prepare standard indemnity bonds and affidavits.
- Manage storage of lawyer and vendor agreements.
- Assist recovery team with property and legal recovery work.
- Handle registered mortgage as legal representative.
- Monitor annual compliance and RBI requirements.
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Maintain tracker showing updated case status.
- File civil/criminal complaints and attend court hearings.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM from a leading university in India.
- 3–5 years of domain and relevant experience.
- Sound legal knowledge of CPC, CrPC, IPC, Companies Act, IBC, SARFAESI Act, Transfer of Property Act, Consumer Laws, and mortgage lending laws.
- Knowledge of lending, mortgage, real estate, securitization, and charge creation.
- Experience in strategizing legal action on loan accounts, litigation, and action under various laws.
- Strong negotiation, written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
