Details of the Job/Internship

Dermatouch is hiring a Legal Officer in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with 2-5 years of experience in legal/compliance within FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or D2C brands.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company laws, industry regulations (CDSCO, FDA, FSSAI), and licensing requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MoUs, NDAs, and vendor/distributor agreements.
• Assess contractual risks, ensure compliance, and collaborate with legal teams.
• Identify legal risks, handle disputes, legal notices, and litigation matters.
• Represent the company in audits, regulatory proceedings, and compliance hearings.
• Oversee corporate governance, employment laws, data protection, and ROC filings.
• Implement internal policies for ethical and legal business operations.

Eligibility

• Education: LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
• Experience: 2-5 years in legal/compliance roles within FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or D2C brands.
• Expertise: Corporate law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management.
• Preferred: Knowledge of drug & cosmetic laws, consumer protection, and intellectual property (IP) laws.
