Details of the Job/Internship
FatakPay is hiring a Legal Officer – NBFC & Cyber Crime with 2–3 years of experience to join its offices in Mumbai (Nahur & Andheri).
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure NBFC compliance with RBI regulations, circulars, and applicable frameworks.
- Advise management on legal and regulatory issues impacting NBFC operations.
- Lead investigations and legal proceedings involving cybercrimes, online frauds, and phishing scams.
- Draft, vet, and negotiate contracts, policies, and legal documents.
- Handle litigation, recovery, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, cyber cells, regulators, and external counsels.
- Conduct legal research on NBFC and cybercrime-related laws.
- Maintain updated compliance trackers and legal documentation.
Eligibility
- Qualification: LL.B. / LL.M.
- Experience: 2–3 years in NBFC legal operations or cyber law practice.
- In-depth knowledge of RBI guidelines and NBFC regulatory frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cybercrime investigation and advisory.
- Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High ethical standards with the ability to handle sensitive legal information.
