Details of the Job/Internship
GM Infinite Dwelling (India) Pvt. Ltd is hiring Legal Officers with experience of 5–10 years to join their Legal Department in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The company is hiring for two roles: Legal Officer – Non-Litigation and Legal Officer – Litigation.
Role and Responsibilities
Legal Officer – Non-Litigation:
- Conduct title due diligence.
- Draft and vet Sale Deeds, JDAs, GPAs, Lease Agreements, and Construction Agreements.
- Handle end-to-end property registrations in Karnataka.
- Ensure compliance with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, Registration Act, 1908, Transfer of Property Act, 1882, Indian Stamp Act, 1899, and Karnataka land revenue regulations.
Legal Officer – Litigation:
- Represent developers in civil, commercial, and regulatory disputes.
- Handle matters relating to project delays, specific performance, injunctions, land title disputes, recovery proceedings, consumer complaints, and RERA litigation.
- Appear before Civil Courts, Commercial Courts, Consumer Forums, and the Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority.
Eligibility
- Relevant legal experience of 5–10 years.
- Experience with developers, law firms, or property advisory firms.
- Strong knowledge of state-specific land laws.
