Details of the Job/Internship
Groom India Salon & Spa Private Limited is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Officer with minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in franchise operations, salon, or retail industries.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage all legal aspects related to franchise salons, including franchise agreements, renewals, and terminations.
- Ensure legal compliance across all franchise operations with respect to company policies and applicable laws.
- Provide legal advice on franchise disputes, contracts, employment laws, and intellectual property matters.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including arbitration, litigation, or regulatory matters.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Liaise with external legal counsel for complex legal issues.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Address disputes and grievances between franchise partners and the company.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of corporate and franchise law.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple legal cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong legal research, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
