Details of the Job/Internship
Hughes & Hughes Chem Limited is hiring a Legal Officer with 4–6 years of experience to join their legal team in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and MoUs.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulatory and environmental laws.
- Represent the company in arbitration, litigation, and labor matters.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend legal mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and update legal documentation, licenses, and statutory records.
- Provide legal guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Advise internal teams on contractual rights and legal obligations.
- Track legislative updates and assess impacts on company operations.
- Review internal communications and policies for legal accuracy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M is a plus.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in petrochemical, plastics, or rubber sectors.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, and environmental law.
- Experience in contract drafting, dispute resolution, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office.
