Details of the Job/Internship
iD Fresh Food (India) Pvt. Ltd is looking for candidate for the position of Legal officer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and employment law.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and manage relationships with law firms.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and assist with the preparation of board materials and minutes.
- Support the due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Handle intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Assist in the resolution of disputes and manage the company's litigation portfolio.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on legal and compliance matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or equivalent; a master’s degree in law (LLM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a legal executive or similar role, preferably within a corporate or law firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
