Details of the Job/Internship

KisanKraft Limited is hiring a Legal Officer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office. The role involves providing high-quality legal advice to management and other departments, ensuring compliance, and managing legal, regulatory, and contractual matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and provide legal advice on MOUs, agreements, contracts, and internal policies ensuring statutory compliance.
• Draft and vet legal notices and respond to notices received by the company.
• Review ongoing cases, advise management, and liaise with outside counsels and law firms.
• Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate action regarding contracts and tender documents.
• Review tender documents and provide legal guidance.
• Handle compliance and regulatory matters with government departments.
• Advise management on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues including Labour, Environmental, Commercial, and Intellectual Property laws.
• Prepare and check documents for submission to government departments and obtain necessary approvals.
• Follow up with government departments for required information, forms, notifications, and approvals.
• Obtain permits, sanctions, and ensure regular statutory filings.
• Facilitate company representatives in interactions with various departments.
• Demonstrate strong people and management skills, working collaboratively across teams.
• Flexibly handle different legal matters as assigned by the company.

Eligibility

• Candidates must have an LLB degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a lawyer or Legal Officer in an organisation or law firm.
• Candidates must be fluent in English, Hindi, and local languages and be willing to travel as required.

Salary/Stipend
