Details of the Job/Internship

Mohan Mutha Infrastructures Pvt Ltd seeks a Legal Officer in Chennai. Responsible for legal and contractual matters, this role involves building scalable processes and systems to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft/Review/redline/negotiate mid complexity contracts (eg NDA, MSA, SOW, Amendments and Change Orders etc) on behalf of MMG independently in discussion with the Management.
• Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle management activities, including recording fully executed agreements into contract database, managing renewals, extension, renegotiation, amendments, and termination of contracts etc.
• Provide information and documentation for audit and reporting purpose.
• Contribute to contracts management excellence through continuous innovation and improvement in contract management processes etc.
• Provides guidance to account management for contractual opportunities to improve revenue, profits and/or risk exposure for the account.
• Secure compliance of business operation with relevant laws and regulations.
• Anticipate and mitigate the (legal) risk connected with or resulting from the business strategies and operations.
• Cooperate with other members within law dept., other departments, functions etc.
• Represent dept. as and when required with Sales, Operation, Delivery before the client.
• Advising on general business law related issues and managing legal issues.

Eligibility

Required skills:

• Advanced fluency in contract terminology (including legal and business terms and SLAs) and ability to master highly complex contracts.
• Experience in the execution of contract management end to end responsibilities.
• Strong business acumen with ability to navigate and analyse complex commercials of a deal.
• Rigorous attention to detail, expert analytics, advanced ability to interpret contract terms and conditions and advise and make recommendations.
• Ability to deliver high quality work under deadlines.
• Ability to forge strong professional relationships with delivery, finance and account management teams and client counterparts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor(mandatory) or master degree (preferrable) in law with 5+ years of experience
