Details of the Job/Internship

Remitap is hiring a Legal Officer with 0–2 years of experience to join their office in Kochi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide legal advice to management and internal teams on operational, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Assist in dispute resolution, litigation management, and coordination with external counsel.
• Conduct legal due diligence for partnerships, investments, and corporate transactions.
• Develop and maintain internal policies, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with regulators, government authorities, and external legal advisors.
• Represent the company in courts, tribunals, or legal proceedings when required.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in legal advisory practice, in-house legal teams, or law firms.
• Strong knowledge of company laws, financial laws, regulatory laws, and compliance.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Exposure to corporate governance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Experience in representing the organization in courts, tribunals, or legal proceedings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Salary/Stipend
