Details of the Job/Internship
Urban Stories is hiring a Legal Officer with 5–10 years of experience in real estate legal work to join their office in Banashankari, Bangalore. The role involves supporting legal and compliance functions for real estate projects, with a focus on property law, title due diligence, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct title verification and legal due diligence of land records.
- Draft and review sale deeds, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- Manage registrations, stamp duty processes, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities such as BBMP, BDA, and the Sub-Registrar.
- Provide legal advisory on land transactions and contracts.
- Support deal evaluation, documentation management, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate litigation matters and ensure adherence to processes.
Eligibility
- 5–10 years of experience in real estate legal work.
- Experience in property law, title due diligence, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
